Mrs. Ada Bradley, 82, of Amarillo, Texas, went from labor to reward on February 3, 2020.  She passed away in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Mrs. Bradley was born on November 13, 1937, in Mexia, Texas, to Selvester and Symanthia Parhams Wallace.

As a young woman eager to start a family, she married Thomas Dansby and they had two daughters, Rubby Lee Dansby and Sharla Marie Franklin, who brought much joy to her life.  She was passionate about serving her Lord Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Bradley was a Sunday school teacher at Saint John Baptist Church in Amarillo for many years and she served on the Usher Board.  She was an advocate for education.  She retired from the Amarillo Independent School District where she worked for 15 years.  She loved serving her community and volunteering for the Vista Program helping those who were in need of food and clothes.

Mrs. Bradley later married the love of her life, James David Bradley on July 16, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Thomas Dansby and James David Bradley, a brother, Aaron Augustine Wallace, a sister, Ila Belle Wallace Smith, her daughters, Rubby Lee Dansby Burns and Sharla Marie Franklin, a great-grandson, Mark LaWayne Proby, Jr., and her great-great-grandson, Zikeis Britton.
