Mrs. Anita Vinson, age 84, of Amarillo, Texas died on December 2, 2016.
Celebration of Life Services were held on December 9, 2016, at the Greater Love Temple Church, Bishop Jackie L. Riles officiating. Interment followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Anita Vinson was born on July 8, 1932 in Paris, Texas. She lived there until her parents moved to Wellington in 1949. The family later lourney here toAmarillo.
Anita was a strong, courageous woman of faith. She never gave up no matter what. She loved her family and anytime her family needed her, she was there to provide strength and wisdom.
She was a beautiful spirit who loved God and loved serving and praising God no matter what.
Mrs. Vinson was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd H. White, three brothers and six sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Billy E. Vinson, four sons; Herman White, Billy D. Vinson, Edrick D. Vinson and Ricky L. Vinson all of Amarillo; five daughters: Debra L. Reed of Denton, Texas, Vickie R. Tatum, Yolanda M. Flenory and Kimberly L. Vinson all of Amarillo and Terry J. Cummings of Colony, Texas and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephew and other family members and friends.
