Bobbie Wells Rayford

Bobbie Wells Rayford, 76, of Amarillo died Friday, March 13, 2015.

Services were held at Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel of Roses. Burial was in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.

Bobbie Ann Wells Rayford was born February 24, 1939 in Childress, Texas to L.V. Wells and Mable Armstrong. She graduated from Childress High School and pursued a college degree at Amarillo College. Bobbie was a Christian woman who put God first and treated people with warmth and Kindness.

In August of 1959, Bobbie brought into the world her beloved son, Derrick Wells. She devoted her life to helping people and always maintained the abililty to make everyone around her laugh throughout her life. She became a proud grandmother and loved her grandchildren fiercely. After God, family and friends Bobbies's other loves included Dr. Pepper and Bingo.

Bobbie was peacefully called home to the Lord on the morning of Friday, March 13, 2015.  souls and life.

She is survived by her only son, Derrick E. Wells; two brothers, Charles Wells and Billy Wells; three sisters, Fannie Rush, Frankie Keys and Linda Dobbs; and four grandchildren; Rochelle Wells, Cedric Young, Chanea Wells Bond and Sierra Wells, daughter-in-law and best friend Tamara Wells, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of family members and friends.
