Clara L. Johnson, 83, of Amarillo died Monday, Dec. 1, 2014.
Services were held at Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel with the Rev James Riles officiating. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Clara Johnson was born June 1, 1931, in Coolidge to Terry and Ruby Smith. She worked as a unit clerk at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, where she retired.
Clara was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Johnson Sr.; a son, Homer Johnson Jr.; and a daughter, Ruby Phea.
Survivors include her children, William Smith, Veatrice Johnson and Robb Crain-Johnson, all of Amarillo, and Jo Lynn Johnson of Naples; 12 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
