Claude Barber, 69, of Phoenix died Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Services were held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Phoenix. Burial was in National Cemetery in Phoenix. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Claude Barber was born Dec. 19, 1946, in Wellington, Texas. He attended Booker T. Washington School and graduated from Wellington High School in 1968. He served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran, receiving several medals. He was employed by Rice Puff Food Service for more than 30 years. Claude was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Tonisa and Nichole Barber, both of Glendale; a son, Amir Barber of Glendale; three sisters, Jeanette Barber, Gwen Barber and Florence Iyson; and two brothers, Glenn Barber and Robert Barber.
