Cora Mae Johnson, 76, of Amarillo died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015.
Services were held at Carter Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Roy Walker officiating. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.
She was preceded in death by her mother;Eunice Weatherly Kennedy; a brother, Wesley James Weatherly; a sister, Marsha M. Ealy; and a son, Charles Johnson
Survivors include two sisters,Geraldine Horne of Marietta, Georgia; Gloria Patrick of Mobile, Alabama; one uncle, Rufus (Arbella) Weatherly of San Antonio , Texas and aunt; seven children,Melores( Gerry) Glass, Rene (Alvin) McVea, Samuel Johnson, Hodge Johnson, John Johnson, Cora Johnson all of Amarillo, Texas and Clielita Johnson of Irving, Texas; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relative and friends.
