Desiree Daniella (Moore) Jackson

Ms. Desiree Daniella Moore Jackson, 41, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

She was born in Oakland, Alameda County, California, to the proud parents Jeffrey and Jana Denise Johnson Moore. Desiree was the only child born to this union and was greatly loved by her parents.

She was a relatively quiet child who blossomed under the care and love of her maternal grandmother, Narvell Johnson. “Grandma,” as Desiree affectionately referred to her, was her biggest champion and cheerleader as she navigated through life. Her unconditional and steadfast love for Desiree will live well past her physical transition from this world to the next.

Desiree moved to Oklahoma with her grandmother where she completed her high school diploma and began working in the service industry shortly thereafter. She ventured out on her own and moved to Amarillo, Texas, some years later where she met and married Andre Jackson.

She was employed as a cashier with the Dairy Queen located at 1900 South Washington Street, Amarillo, Texas.

Desiree was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, two daughters, Jill Ann Jackson and Marsha Braxton Moore Jackson, her mother-in-law, Sheila Nell Jackson, her grandma, Narvell Johnson, her uncle, Charles Jackson (Stephanie), and a host of other aunts, uncles, family members, and friends.

The cycle of life is always the most painful when it comes to an end. While Desiree Moore Jackson will no longer walk among us her memory and life will always be a part of those who loved and knew her. Desire will be sorely missed by many.
