Dorothy Jean Robinson Walker, 90, of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Dorothy was born in Elysian Fields, Harrison County, Texas, to Lacy and Ruby Lee Johnson Robinson.

Dorothy dedicated her life to caring for others, both within her home and in her work. As a devoted homemaker, diligent housekeeper, and compassionate nurse’s aide, she brought kindness, patience, and strength to everything she did. Her greatest joy was her family, and she was deeply loved and appreciated by her large extended family, who will remember her for her unwavering support, warm heart, and nurturing spirit.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, six sons, Ronnie Carson, Jimmy Ephraim, Charles Coleman, Larry Douglas, Ricky Carson, and Larry Carson, and two daughters, Linda Ephraim and Sarah Jo Brightmon.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Leon (Evelyn) Coleman, James Carson, Edward Coleman, and Benny Carson, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
