Edward Lewis Haley

Edward Lewis Haley, 70, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Mr. Haley was born in Mineola, Wood County, Texas to Ira Vernon and Jennie Vera Miller Haley.  He attended Phyllis Wheatley High School.

After high school, he served his country honorably as a Private First Class in the United States Marine Corps from April 5, 1978, to October 5, 1979.  He was married to Ms. Gladys Haley and to this union their son, Edward Haley, Jr., was born.

Edward loved dancing and having good times with family and friends.  He was a member of Saint Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Haley was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Otis Haley.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories, his son, his mother, a sister, Edith Raymond, a brother, Charles Wayne Haley, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
