Elvis Dewayne Fisher, 61, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 4:55 a.m., at BSA Healthcare System in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas.

Elvis was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to Lena Mae Fisher Peair and Floyd Utah Lewis. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle.

Elvis grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana, and attended Natchitoches Central High School. He began learning the trade of carpentry from his stepfather, Willie B. Peair, and went on to have a career as a skilled carpenter. His passion was building things from the ground up. He attended New Beginnings church under the leadership of the late C.H Branch, his uncle.

Elvis was known for his warm spirit, sense of humor, and love for his cats. He also had a deep affection for family and friends. He was always repairing and rebuilding things that were broke or needed to be put together or assembled. “Mr. Fix It,” he was.

He was preceded in death by his mother, twin brother at birth, two sisters, Sophia Lewis and Tottiana Adams, grandparents, Ruthie Lee and Roy Fisher, Sr., and a niece, Rashaunda Egan.

Elvis leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Floyd Utah Lewis (Sandra) of Natchitoches, Louisiana, seven sisters, Pamela young (Rodney) of Georgia, Valerie Nobles (Eric) of Georgia, Nicole Peair of Florida, Ranita Egan of Minnesota, Felicha Jackson (David) of Minnesota, LaTeasha Quansah (Eric) of Minnesota, Da'vonsia Lewis of Minnesota, a brother, Frederick Gray of Minnesota, along with eleven nephews, one great-nephew, eight nieces, aunts, uncles, a host of relatives, and close friends.
