Gardail Lawson, 60, of Canyon, Texas died October 17, 2015 in Amarillo, Texas. Services were held at Temple of Praise Community Church with Rev. Mal Carr officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Gardail (Williams) Lawson was born on November 09, 1954 to James and Annie Mae (Jefferson) Williams in Seminole, Texas. She was the 6th child out of six children. She attended Rule High School in 1972. She moved to Tampa, Florida in 1982 and opened Al Grady's Appliance. She moved to Amarillo, Texas in 1984 where she worked at Levi Strauss. Mrs. Lawson was currently residing in Canyon, Texas.

Mrs. Gardail (Williams) Lawson enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking. She is well known in East, Texas for her famous banana pudding. Mrs. Lawson was caring, kind-hearted , and enjoyed praising the Lord. She was a humble and meek Woman of God that believed in giving her testimonies on Sunday mornings. She was a faithful and dedicated member at the Prayer Temple C.O.G.I.C. for many years.

Mrs. Lawson married David Lawson on July 26, 2006. She was baptized on August 2, 2006. She is preceded in death by her Parents, James and Annie Mae (Jefferson) Williams;two brothers, Robert "Jr" Williams and Earl Williams; and one sister, Sammey (Williams) Dean.

Mrs. Gardail (Williams) Lawson leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, David Lawson of Canyon, TX., 1 daughter - Laura Lawson-Grady of Amarillo, TX. 3 sons - Brady Williams, Ronnie Grady and Vernest Grady, all of Amarillo, TX. 1 sister, Dorothy Wilson of Amarillo, TX. 1 brother Ballard "Bill" Williams, of Montana; 8 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
