Geneve Young, 85, of Pampa died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015.
Graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. R.L. Hunnicutt officiating. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Mrs. Geneve Young was born April 10, 1930, in Wellington, Texas to Joel and Addie Bell "Mamo" Hunnicutt. She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 40 years, as well as being a devout passionate matriarch and homemaker for many.
She married Eugene "EJ" Young, Jr. in Wellington in the year 1948 and moved to Pampa, Texas in 1958 where they reared eleven children together.
Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Young Jr.; one daughter Elena Benjamin; three sons; Waymon Young, Robert Young and Rayford Young; two sisters: Marie hunnicutt and Georgia Lee Prentice; six Brothers, Larry Hunnicutt, Carter "Bobo" Hunnicutt, Frank Hunnicutt, William " Cutt" Hunnicutt, , James L. Hunnicutt and J.C. Hunnicutt.
Geneve is survived by two daughters, Doris Tillmon of Pampa and Jennifer Hyacinth of Baytown; five sons, Eugene Young, Carter Young, Kevin Young, Rodney Young and Jeffery Young, all of Pampa; and a brother, the Rev. R.L. Hunnicutt of Wellington, Texas and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins
