Helen Titus-Carey

Helen Marie Carey was born on April 9, 1943 in Matador, Texas to the late Ebb and Evelyn Titus. This beautiful woman that everyone knew was a very loving, caring, and devoted Christian woman, mother and grandmother. She worked very hard raising her five children and a host of grandchildren , making sure they always put God first. Helen accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Baptist Church under the late Reverend Vernon Spencer.

She loved fishing and spending time with her family. She was known for her humorous personality and telling jokes.

Sher was preceded in death by her parents Ebb and Evelyn Titus, her beloved son Ernest Carey III, three sisters and four brothers.

Those left to cherish her precious memories; Daughters; Natalie Titus (Willie), Jamie Shaw-Brown (Marion) and Karen Johnson; Son, Brian Carey;(11) Grandchildren, (26) Great grandchildren; (4) Great great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces and a host of loving relatives and friends.
