J. T. Towery, 66, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on February 20, 2017.
He was born in Flomot, Texas to Jack and Willie Towery.
He is survived by his son, Timothy Towery and two daughters, Jessica Tropez (Ronald) and Alice Brown all of Amarillo, six sisters, Merline Brown, Linda Towery, Gloria Dean Towery, Tishann Towery, Helen Towery and Jackann Towery and three brothers Wayne Towery, Dillard Towery and Danny Towery, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be March 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Love Temple, 811 South Tennessee, with Bishop Jackie L. Riles, Pastor and Reverend Edward Hewitt, officiating. Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Warford-Walker Mortuary Rose Chapel.
