Jack Lee Green, Jr.

Jack Lee Green, Jr., 87, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Jack was born on April 30, 1931, to Jack Lee, Sr. and Loraine Peters Green in Grandfield, Oklahoma.  He served two years in the United States Army as a Truck Mechanic.  After serving his country, he worked for the Amarillo Hardware Company as a Truck Driver and retired with twenty years of service.  After retiring, he worked for Windsor Elementary School as the Lead Custodian for three years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rose Alpha Anderson Green, a brother, Hollis Green, a son, Willie Ray Thompson Green and a daughter, Sandra Green.

Mr. Green leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Carolyn Williams, a son, Jack Lee (Sheryl) Green, III, a granddaughter, Olivia Rose Green, seven additional grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
