Jimmie Nell (Fulleylove) Mallory

Mrs. Jimmie Nell Fulleylove Mallory, 91, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.

In Celebration of the life of Mrs. Jimmie Nell Fulleylove Mallory, she was born on October 28, 1926, in Howe, Texas to the late Claude and Willie Mae Carroll Fulleylove.  Mrs. Mallory grew up in Sherman, Texas and attended school there also.  She later moved to Amarillo, Texas where she became a Registered Nurse and worked at Saint Anthony’s Hospital for over 40 years.

Upon retirement, Mrs. Mallory volunteered her services at the Northwest Texas Hospital Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels.  She was a member of the Amarillo Business Women’s Association where she was named Woman of the Year, 2004-2005.  She was a lifelong member of Johnson Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she experienced great joy in singing with the Hood Mass Choir during Christmas for over ten years.

Ms. Mallory was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Willie D. Fulleylove and Charles Bryant and one sister, Donnye Adams.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Buell Mallory, three daughters, Cynthia Smith, Charlotte Hunter and Pamela Landers, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
