John Edward Crenshaw
June 28, 1953 — August 29, 2017
Mr. John Edward Crenshaw, 64 of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
Mr. Crenshaw was born in Amarillo, Texas to the late Lester and Earnel DeBose Crenshaw. He attended Hilltop Elementary School and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1971. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Jenkins Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J. W. Wade.
John was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Lestine Jennings Crenshaw, two brothers, Paten L. W. Bowens and Robert Crenshaw and an uncle, Levi DeBose (a long time Potter County Deputy Sheriff).
He leaves to cherish his memories, a sister, Betty (Charlie) Love of Amarillo, two brothers, Lester Eugene Crenshaw of Abilene, Texas and Lester Crenshaw, Jr., of Dallas, Texas, his fiancee, Jeanette Baseemah Dunlap, three nieces, Vanessa Love Dale of Dallas, Texas, Rachelle Jennings of San Francisco, California and Elisa Love, Amarillo, Texas and a host of great nieces, great-great nieces, great nephews, great-great nephews, family and friends.
