Joyce F. Johnson, 77, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.
Services for Mother Johnson were held at Love Fellowship Church of Amarillo with Bishop Warren D. Coble, Officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas.
Final arrangements were entrusted to Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Joyce Faye Andrews Johnson was a born July 22, 1936 in Hamlin, Texas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, July 18, 2014
Joyce Faye was reared by her aunt, Isa Jenkins and attended school in Hamlin, Texas. She worked many years in child care centers of Hamlin and Abilene, Texas. (MHMR) She graduated from Cisco Junior College with a degree in Mental Health
Mother Johnson accepted the Lord as her Personal Savior in 1979 at Love Fellowship of Amarillo.
Joyce Faye loved to sew and crochet and was a master at it.
Mother Johnson was preceded in death by her aunt, Isa Jenkins, a daughter, Joyce Marie Johnson, a sister Elsie Jackson and a brother-in-aw, Revered Joe Jackson
She leaves to cherish her memory 5 children: Patsy Andrews, Donald Zeno, Jesse Andrews, Ben Johnson, and Jackie Fennell & husband Robert, Jr. all of Amarillo, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grand-children, and other relatives and friends.
