He was born in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, to Charles Shorten and Tina Marie Green Reddic.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a brother, Joseph Shawn Green of Lubbock, Texas, and an aunt, Patricia Green of Vernon, Texas.
