Lakysha Jo (Cantly) Brown

Lakysha Jo Cantly, 45, formerly of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020, in Palestine, Texas, at home with her family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Emanuel Funeral Home of Palestine, Texas, and Warford-Walker Mortuary of Amarillo, Texas.

Queen Lakysha Cantly Brown, the second child, was born in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Donell Gooden and Kimberly Jo Cantly Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Leola Cantly.

Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Preston Brown, Jr., three sons, Patrick Derel Tillmon, Christian Desean Gooden, and Peyton Ashton Brown, three daughters, Princess Ada Shepherd, Princess Kimberly Gabrielle Cantly and Princess Heaven LeNae Cantly, a granddaughter, Maia Amora Vasquez, her mother, Kimberly Cantly Stewart, and her step-father, Esau Stewart of Arlington, Texas, two brothers, Donnie Al Gooden Cantly of Atlanta, Georgia, Alton Ray (Maria) Burns of Amarillo, Texas, a sister, Esaunja Marlenee Stewart of Arlington, Texas, her beloved grandfather, Nathaniel Cantly of Amarillo, Texas, her aunt Rose Gooden, of Amarillo, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
