Lester Moore, 89, of Amarillo died Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Services were held at New Light Ministries with Bishop Richard Murray and Pator Eleanor Murray officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.
Mr. Lester Moore was born May 13, 1927, in Lincoln. He was an Amarillo resident for more than 60 years.
He was formerly employed with ASARCO and was a business owner for many years. He was a faithful member of New Light Ministries and an Army veteran.
Survivors include a son, Johnnie Ray Moore and wife Kelly of San Angelo; seven stepsons and stepdaughters; three brothers, Ruth Moore, Johnnie Moore and Omar Sharif; two grandsons, Johnny Ray Moore Jr. and Demarcus Moore and wife Tabitha; and six great-grandchildren.
