Lucille Wilborn Lewis, 88, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, in Lubbock, Texas.
Mrs. Lewis was born on August 13, 1930, to J. D. and Ludelia Coleman Wilborn in Slaton, Texas. She was a self-employed Beautician. She later worked for the Denver, Colorado Public Schools and the J. B. Lane and Melinda Hagy Family. Mrs. Lewis was a warm and caring woman who loved her family dearly and was always willing to share her blessings. She loved playing Dominoes and Bingo.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sargent Robert Lewis, two brothers, J. D. Wilborn, Jr., and Billy Wilborn, five sisters, Clarine McKellar, Hazel Hill, Doris Willis, Carolyn Powell and Novel Hall.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Allen (Wanda) Lewis of Lubbock, Texas, a brother, Earl (Mary Lou) Wilborn, Sr., of Slaton, Texas, a sister, Hattie Jones of Lubbock, Texas, two grandchildren, Moneke Glass and Donyel Glass both of Amarillo, Texas, four great-grandchildren, Samajae, Kentrion, Takadrien and Ja’Korrie, all of Amarillo, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
