Patricia A. Gilbreath, 58, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Services were held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Warford-Walker Mortuary.

Mrs. Gilbreath was born in Amarillo. She attended North Heights Elementary School, Carver Junior/Senior High School and was a 1974 graduate of Amarillo High School. She was a lifetime member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Patricia was a stand out member of Levi Stauss & Company, California Umbrella Factory, and Northwest Texas Hospital System. Patricia will always be remembered for her kind, loving and giving spirit. With her contagious smile, she thrived to make everyone around her feel comfortable, welcomed and happy by any means necessary. She was the "family chef" and loved to make others happy with her meals. Patricia was always a strong shoulder to cry on and always ready to listen without judgment and willing to give advice. She always laughed, danced and expressed love to all of her family and friends. Patricia was a very special woman of many accomplishments. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed, but always loved and remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Louis and Billie Gilbreath; a son, Wardell Eugene and her brother, Dewayne Gilbreath.

Those left to cherish her memories include a son, LeTravin Gilbreath and wife LaKyma of Los Angeles; a daughter, DeShanza Gilbreath and Scott Johnson of Amarillo; three brothers, Louis Gilbreath and wife Mary of Henderson, Nev., Wardell Gilbreath and wife Audrey of Katy and Gilbert Gilbreath and wife Wanda of Denver; three sisters, Juanetta Bradley of Amarillo and Brenda Gilbreath and Ramona Gilbreath, both of Houston; a grandson, Lanson Gilbreath of Los Angeles; three aunts, Vurnell Gilbreath, Bertha Bowers and Ruby Mitchell; an uncle, Robert Musgrove of Tulsa, Okla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
