Perry Tillman-Walker departed this life peacefully Friday, December 30, 2016 at his home.
Perry Tillman-Walker was born on December 5, 1949 in Borger, TX to Herman Walker and Margaret Tillman. He was reared by his Grandmother Roberta Tillman- Shaw.
Perry received his early education in the Borger, TX Public School system. He relocated to Amarillo, TX to continue his education and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1969.
He worked with family through most of his life with “Supthen’s Bar-B-Q “from his youth in Borger through his adulthood in Amarillo and Lubbock Texas. He worked in Arizona with Joe Supthens Jr. until retiring to start his own Bar B-Q business.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Roberta Tillman-Shaw; his mother, Margaret Tillman Monroe; His father, Herman Walker; four Brothers, Frankie Walker, Ike Walker, Ricky Monroe, Lloyd Monroe and one niece, Ebony Monroe.
He is survived by one son, Enrique Barreras Jr. (Tanya); one brother Carl Tillmon (Ruthie); four sisters, Shirley Tillman-Huff, Doris Ann Monroe-Wells both of Houston, TX; Loretta Kay Monroe and Connie Sue Monroe both of Amarillo; one grandson and two granddaughters.
