Robbie Lee (Carey) Fleming

Robbie Lee Fleming, 70, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2018,

Ms. Fleming was born in Roswell, New Mexico to the late Earnest and Estella Mundson Carey.

She attended Carver High School and graduated from the State of Illinois.  She retired from Integrated Health Services (IHS) of Amarillo in 1996.

Ms. Fleming enjoyed reading her bible, cooking family dinners and crossword and jigsaw puzzles.  Her favorite pastime was playing “Bid Whist.”  She loved red roses and her favorite song was “Green Onions” by Booker T. and the MG’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Venus Fleming, two brothers, Lum Carey and Otis Carey, a sister, Estella Nelson and a niece, Irma Nelson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Robert Carey of Amarillo, Texas, Timothy Carey of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Jason Fleming of Florida, four daughters, Belinda Carey and Elizabeth Gipson of Amarillo, Texas, Vanya Carey of North Carolina and Victoria Fleming of Washington, a sister, Earma Conner, three brothers, Earnest Carey, Nathaniel Carey and Jackson (LaMelda) Carey, all of Amarillo, Texas, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
