Ruby Washington Hill, 69, passed away on April 30, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas.
Ms. Hill was born on February 15, 1948 in Riverside, California to Leroy and Ruby Washington.
She moved to Amarillo, Texas with her parents shortly after birth and then they moved to Clovis, New Mexico. The first language she learned was Spanish. They moved back to Amarillo where she resided for the rest of her life. Ruby worked as a secretary for many years. She retired from Continental Independent Living as a Hostess.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Angela Washington Jackson of Dallas, Texas, Sharon Iheme and Bertina Hill and a son, Brandon Hill all of Amarillo, six grandchildren, Richard Finch, Xavier Freeman, Dominique Montague, Hunter Eason, Italya Saiz, Ta’Sean Hill and Marquavien Hill, six great grandchildren, six brothers, Joseph Washington, Willie Washington, Jimmy Washington, Perry Washington, Terry Washington and Sammy Washington, a sister, Ludell Hill and many other relatives.
