Rudy Carl McFall Scott was born on April 25, 1951 to Rudolph McFall and Lezetta Smith in Memphis (Hall County, Texas). Rudy moved to Amarillo, Texas at a young age. He attended Carver Jr. and Sr. High Schools as well as Palo Duro High School.
He met and married Melvia Perkins. To this union, Rudana was born. As life began, he joined the United States Navy as an E1 Private Seaman Recruit. He was honorably discharged. He retired after 15 years of service from Hutton Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC.
Rudy had many friends. He loved his music and watching television. Rudy had a big heart and a huge smile. He made donations to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Sheriff’s Department. He loved life and enjoyed making people smile and laugh.
He is survived by two daughters; Rudana Scott and Nakia Webster; two sons, Terry Perkins and Damon Bonner all of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Linda Faye Morris of Amarillo, Texas, Marilyn Steptoe of Houston, Texas and Gail Porter of Junction City, Kansas; two brothers, Billy Don Scott of Amarillo, Texas and Marvin Graves of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; a special nephew, Darrell Morris; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
