Thelma Johnson

Thelma B. Johnson, 108, of Amarillo died Friday, April 29, 2016.

Services were held at Warford-Walker Mortuary Chapel with Monseigneur Rex Nicholl officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Warford-Walker Mortuary.

Thelma B. Johnson was born on March 8, 1908, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was a longtime resident of Amarillo for over 60 years. She was a member of the Saint Martin Catholic Church.She was a member of Catholic Daughters and Le' Dame Social Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Johnson, daughter Victoria Briggs, brother Melvis Blanton and sister Ola Blanton

She is survived by distant cousins in Spencer, Oklahoma and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
