Timothy Lionel Boynes

Timothy Lionel Boynes, 54, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia on February 18, 1966, to Winford Gladstone Boynes, Jr., and Annie Mae Boynes.

Mr. Boynes attended Douglas High School and graduated from Grover Cleveland Innovative High School for Fine Arts in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He played basketball at the collegiate level for Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma.

He was known by his friends as a gentle giant, a man of few words, and one with a heart of gold.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving daughter, Chloe Boynes, two older brothers, Winford G. Boynes, III, and Anthony Boynes, a special friend, Nuggie Woods, and a host of relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Timothy Lionel Boynes is planned for a later date.
