Zebbie Dee Peel

Zebbie Peel, 78, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

Mr. Peel was born on June 26, 1940, in Texarkana, Texas to Claude and Lannie Mae Heath Peel.  He attended school in Omaha, Texas during his younger years and later Carver High School in Amarillo, Texas.  After being together for forty-seven years he married the love of his life, Lenola Clark on June 21, 2018.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.

He loved to fish, play with his toy cars, shoot pool, watch western movies and spend time with his family.  Also, he thoroughly enjoyed making others laugh and smile.

Mr. Peel was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Claudia Sims.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Lenola; three daughters, Brinda Peel Owensby, Sonya Owensby and Sophina Willingham; three sons,  Anthony Peel Owensby, Jarrod Owensby, and Calvin Peel; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and his best friend, Milton Walton.
