Obituary
Mr. Joshua Dwain “Josh” Lightsey, 27, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Josh was born on September 28, 1994, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Daniel Dwain and Dorothy Kay Sumner Lightsey. He attended schools in Bee Cave, Texas, Iowa Park, Texas, and Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Josh was a 2013 graduate of Pewaukee High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He was employed in the food service industry.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Beverly Lightsey, and Margie Kay King Sumner.
Josh is survived by his mother, Dorothy Kay Sumner Lightsey, his father and stepmother, Daniel Dwain and Audrey Lightsey, his brother, Caleb Garrett Lightsey, a stepsister, Allison McCarroll (husband Matt), stepbrother, Kyle Schooling, grandfather, Robert Sumner, grandparents, Howard and Lorna Klinkerman, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
