Obituary

Roxie Lynn McChristian was born on January 6, 1960, in Lubbock, TX. He was raised by Precious Lee Nobles and Arthur Edward Hopes in Amarillo, TX. 

Roxie was known to his friends as Rock. Rock enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling, dominoes, playing chess and watching his Dallas Cowboys play. He was a truck driver for 22 years, working for Golden Spread Redi-mix before he retired.

On April 26, 1996, Roxie married Sonja Lynn Finch of Amarillo, TX.

Roxie is survived by his wife Sonya, his two sons; Roxie and Marcus McChristian of Waco, TX, two daughters; Ebony Lynn and Tawny Dyer of Oklahoma City, OK, three brothers; Allen McChristian Amarillo, TX, Arthur Ray McChristian of Waco, Tx, and Gralen McChristion of Lubbock, TX, sister Othoria Hopes of California, Aunt Ruby Nobles of Waco, TX, 12 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Roxie is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Precious Hopes, son Kenneth McChristian, stepdaughter Margaret Finch, brother Kenneth Hopes, and Sister Klebird Heath.
